Desha County Law Enforcement sworn in

On January 3rd, 2017, Desha County officials was sworn in to serve the citizens of Desha County as elected by our fine electors. History was made when the newly elected Sheriff – Larry Allen was sworn in by Justice Kenneth Johnson. Larry is the first African-American elected to serve as the chief law enforcement for Desha County. Other law enforcement deputies and other officials was sworn in to carry out governmental and administrative duties to protect and serve the citizens of this fine county.
