At 12:00 p.m Drew County Arkansas tested their warning sirens (Tornado Siren) to make sure they was working. This test will take place the 1st Wednesday of every month at 12:00 noon This test will last at most average 4 minutes…. This will only be done if the weather is clear…. If weather does not permit it will be done the following Wednesday at noon… Please do not flood 911 with calls stating you hear our do not hear the system… This system is a outside audible siren which means it may our may not be heard inside a structure…. This test has to take place to help emergency personal know the system is functioning… This goes along with the silent test done each morning to make sure Drew County is prepared for the worst.
