Starting Wednesday March 2nd Drew County OEM will start a audible test of the tornado sirens throughout the county… This test will take place the 1st Wednesday of every month at 12:00 noon…. This test will last at most average 4 minutes…. This will only be done if the weather is clear…. If weather does not permit it will be done the following Wednesday at noon… Please do not flood 911 with calls stating you hear our do not hear the system… This system is a outside audible siren which means it may our may not be heard inside a structure…. This test has to take place to help emergency personal know the system is functioning… This goes along with the silent test done each morning to make sure Drew County is prepared for the worst…. Thank you and have a great evening…..
