At approximately 2 A.M. on 1/12/19 Officer Chase Shelton conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for not having a license plate. During the course of the stop, the officers learned that the driver, Freddy Parra, had a suspended drivers license. During a search of the vehicle officers found a small metal container hidden near the gear shift that contained over 3 grams of ice methamphetamine, 2 Vyvanse, and 2 ecstasy pills. Officers also found a set of digital scales inside the vehicle.
Mr. Parra is currently in Mcgehee City Jail awaiting a 1st judicial appearance and is expected to be charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Schedule 2 Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
