From Desha County Arkansas Sheriff Mitch Grant
ATTENTION McGehee area residents:
There are two inmates that escaped the McGehee City Jail approximately 1 hour ago. McGehee PD, Desha County S.O,, Dumas PD and the Arkansas State Police are on scene. The ADC tracking dogs are enroute. They are felons waiting bed space at ADC. They are not believed to be armed. Their names are Dewight Overbea and Marceese Watkins. Please remain vigilant and lock your doors. If you have information, please call the McGehee Police Department.
