The University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics Department would like to thank all the coaching staff, participants, and sponsors for making the 2022 Mainline Health Systems UAM Sports Association Golf Tournament a huge success. Not only did we raise funding for student-athlete programming and support for the Performance Center Campaign, but we also had a lot of fun.
Attendees received a UAM bag filled with a Union Bank koozie, a Commercial Bank koozie, various healthy snacks to enjoy on the course, and a Citizens Bank pen. MK Distributors sponsored both the Longest Drive Competition on hole #1 and the Closest to the Pin competition at hole #6, with the longest driver taking home a Yeti cooler, and the closest to the pin winner taking home a Callaway Bag. The winner of the shortest and longest putts made on hole #5 took home a $75 gift card to Golf Galaxy provided by Lucky’s of Monticello and Chris Halley. The Arkansas-Monticello athletics staff would like to extend a huge thank you to all the corporate sponsors that made this event possible.
Our day of fun on the course came to a close with golfers and UAM staff mingling over dinner and a live auction back at the club house. Monticello Country Club was the perfect host for the Annual UAM Sports Association Golf Tournament. We thank the club for helping us host an incredible event.
