MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics Department continues to showcase its classroom success with more than 60 student-athletes earning a selection to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the Spring 2022 semester.
The spring 2022 semester saw 68 Weevils/Blossoms student-athletes honored, with 39 students making the Dean’s List and 29 making the Chancellor’s List. Among those on the lists, Weevil Football and Blossoms Softball lead the pack with 18 players and 16 players earning honors. Volleyball and Cheer followed with seven a-piece, baseball with five, and Men’s Golf with four. Men’s and Women’s Basketball, as well as Women’s Golf, each had three players, and Men’s and Women’s Cross Country each had one.
Selection to the Chancellor’s List requires a grade point average of 4.0 on at least 12 hours of course credit at the 1000-4000 level in a given semester. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, students required a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, also on at least 12 semester hours of course credit at the 1000-4000 level.
