On Saturday August 6th 2022 Drew County Arkansas Sheriff deputies responded to a call of a gun shot victim in the area of 264 Carpenter rd. Upon arrival of the deputies they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen area. The shooting was reported at the time to be accidental, self-inflicted wound. The victim was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center in Little Rock Arkansas. The investigation is still on going.
