Agribusiness Major Skylar Mast named to All Scholar team.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Five University of Arkansas at Monticello women’s golfers earned Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar accolades, the organization announced Monday. UAM student-athletes Belle Tan, Cameron Seboa, Celestine Nawa, Madeline Condron, and Skylar Mast each garnered recognition.

A total of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

Skylar Mast
Agribusiness Major Skylar Mast leads the group. Mast, a Junior from Richards Texas carried a 3.66 GPA. She played eight rounds this year with an 82.0 scoring average. She had one top-25 finishing in 11th place. Her season-low was a 76.

Belle Tan
Tan paced the academic recognition, leading the way with a 4.0 GPA. On the course her senior year, she had a scoring average of 84.5 in nine rounds played finishing with one top-25 and a low round of 80.

Cameron Seboa
Seboa had quite a first year in the Kelly Green and white with a 3.87-grade point average. From the links, she averaged 86.4 per round in nine rounds. She also had one top-25 finish with her best finish at 15th. Seboa also added a low round of 83.

Celestine Nawa
The junior transfer from Alcorn St., Nawa, had a 3.68 GPA for the year. She played nine rounds and had an average of 81.4. She also had one top-25 finishing 16th. Her season-low round was a 78.

Madeline Condron
Another freshman on the list, Condron, finished her first year with a 3.90 GPA. She played four rounds with an 89.8 scoring average. Her season-low was an 87.

“I am very proud of this team as a whole with a 3.74 team GPA. All eight student-athletes had a 3.0 or better,” said head coach Adam Buie. “So, this was a total team effort; possibly strong enough to win a team scholar award if we end up top-25. This is a great honor for all five of these women.”
