Arkansas City Ark Mayor Hales We had a great construction and collaboration meeting this morning. The main lines of our new water system are 95% installed! The contractor is about to start the next phase of flushing and pressure testing these lines. Please expect to see some water as leaks are found and repaired. Upon completion of this phase and with the approval of the Arkansas Department of Health, then we will begin new meter and service line installation. This has been a long and trying process and we have a ways to go but our new state of the art water system will serve us well for years to come. Mayor Hales appreciate your continued patience as we proceed. We WILL continue to backfill and smooth out the construction areas. Today’s guest speaker was Mike Gowen from Arkansas One Call.
