CALHOUN COUNTY (3-20) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Calhoun County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to widen 1.77 miles of U.S. Highway 167 in Hampton.
McGeorge Contracting Company, Inc. of Pine Bluff was awarded the contract at $12,474,345.28.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in early 2023.
