DALLAS COUNTY (1-28) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to roadways in Dallas County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to resurface 1.4 miles of various city streets in the city of Sparkman, to include: N. Steele Ave., E. Ethel St., Pine St., Kelly Ave. N., and N. Louisiana St.
Smackover Paving Company of Smackover was awarded the contract at $312,302.00.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid 2021.
