Arkansas Highway Commission Approves Bids for Improvements in Lincoln County

DESHA & LINCOLN COUNTIES (1-28) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Desha & Lincoln Counties, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to resurface 4.3 miles of Highway 54 between the city of Dumas and Highway 83.
Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel Company of Pine Bluff was awarded the contract at $1,107,383.55.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid 2021.
