Arkansas State Police Investigating Early Sunday Morning Shooting That Left One Man Dead In Dumas Ark

The Arkansas State Police has been requested by Dumas authorities to assist local law enforcement officers in the investigation of a shooting incident that left one man dead and another wounded early Sunday morning (October 13th).

 

Darius Wigfall, 23, died at a Little Rock hospital moments before 7 AM, Sunday.  Keylos Thompson, 22, was transported to the same hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.  Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds outside the Hall of Entertainment Community Center, located at 1005 Highway 65, Dumas.

 

Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division have interviewed witnesses who were at the community center when the shooting began outside the facility.  Agents also recovered evidence at the scene that is now being analyzed at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory.

 

The investigation is ongoing and the state police special agents are remaining actively involved in the case.
