My heart is heavy this morning as I pray for MY Dumas family. I will always support Good things in our Neighborhoods. For 16 years and several trips to the Dumas Hoodnic it has been an event to bring family and friends together to celebrate Peace and Love for our community. Everyone there especially the organizers have shown nothing but Love to my wife and me. To hear about the shooting after I left was a shock to my wife and me. My son Andrew was there and thank god he’s ok. Please know this event showed no sign of something like this happening. Prayers to the families who were hurt and to the family that lost a Love one. I think my good friend the Reverend Dr. Hezekiah Stewart says it best, wherever there is GOOD evil shall follow. We have to continue to do GOOD things in our communities.
