We would like to address the information currently circulating on social media.
The FBI office in Little Rock issued a general awareness statement on August 20th. The statement covered information they received about a possible school shooting in Arkansas on August 29th and Kentucky on August 28th.
At this time, we are not aware of any specific threat at Hampton School District, but all measures are being taken at this time to ensure that any threat is met head on by law enforcement.
Any and all necessary steps will be taken to ensure the safety of everyone at Hampton School District. Please help us by cooperating with any requests that are made by law enforcement officers on school grounds. These requests are for everyone’s safety.
