Calhoun County Arkansas Sheriff, Chief Deputy, Sheriff Deputy Attended Handgun Skills Training Hosted By Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy

On June 26th and 27th Sheriff Vernon Morris, Chief Deputy Daniel Foster and Deputy John Cutrell attended Handgun Skills training hosted by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. During the course of this training, instructors taught each department the fundamentals of marksmanship with a handgun, how to handle stress while using a firearm along with extensive training drills to help further their skills while handling firearms. In the coming months, Deputy John Cutrell will be attending firearms instructor training so that he may use this knowledge to educate other Calhoun County Deputies and host firearms training for our department.
