The City of Crossett is thrilled to announce that the Crossett Municipal Airport in conjunction with McClelland Consulting Engineering was recently awarded a prestigious Engineering Excellence Award for their combined work on the Runway Lighting Reconstruction Project. These Engineering Excellence Awards recognize Arkansas engineering projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value, and ingenuity. Judged by a panel of industry professionals from around the state, projects were evaluated based on uniqueness, future value to the engineering profession, sustainable considerations, and successful fulfillment of the client’s needs.
Mayor Crystal Marshall and Airport Manager Todd Freeman were honored to attend the awards banquet at the Governor’s mansion in Little Rock and help accept the award on behalf of the City of Crossett. This project greatly increased the safety for our pilots while simultaneously decreasing the energy cost and increasing the longevity of the life of the lighting system.
Thank you to the entire team who helped make this possible! And Congratulations Crossett on your award winning airport!
