Mayor Tonya Kendrix, Hermitage Police Chief Ben Poole, and the Hermitage School District have been in communication regarding a possible threat against an AR school. At this point we do NOT perceive the threat as credible. Hermitage School District has not been mentioned specifically in any threats, however, we take all threats seriously. Safety is our #1 priority, therefore, there will be an increase in law enforcement presence in and around all Hermitage Schools this week. We’re asking everyone to be aware of your surroundings and if you see something say something.
