Ordinances regarding construction have been updated. As of Jan. 2, 2020, the City of Monticello will employ a Fire Marshal to help monitor building and code regulations within Monticello. This will be a time of transition for everyone as we update our City permitting process. We will make every effort to educate the public on the new process.
