This week’s highlight is Interim Public Works Superintendent Charlie Hammock. Charlie has been with the City of Monticello since 1999 and is a life long resident of Drew County. He has been married to his wife Becky, for 28 years and they have a son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.
“My favorite thing about my job is helping the citizens,” Charlie said.
With the recent storms, Charlie and his crews have been working split shifts around the clock to help clear roads and haul off storm debris.
Thanks for serving the people of Monticello!
