Our featured employee this week is Officer Jerome Perez.
Officer Perez is originally from Mississippi but has called Monticello his home since 2006. He first came to Monticello to play football for UAM. Before joining the Monticello Police Department, Perez spent many years serving area juveniles in various capacities.
“I like Monticello because it is so peaceful and the people are so friendly,” Perez noted. “This is home!”
