Congratulations! RISON HIGH has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire! The OEP creates an annual report entitled the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards where we recognize schools with high student academic growth. We think growth is the best indicator of the positive impact that your school is having on students.

Rison High School will have a blood drive next Tuesday, November 5th. It will be in the Bloodmobile beside the Cafeteria. If you would like to participate you may pick up a form and sign up at the desk in front of the high school office. Students must be at least 16 years old. Parental consent is needed for 16 year olds. If 17 years old or older, no consent is needed. Please sign up to support our school! Donors will get a Limited-Edition Bigfoot T-shirt!
We will have our ACT/ Aspire awards assembly today in the gym. 6th- 8th grade students will be dismissed by intercom at 11:45 am and 9th – 12th students will be dismissed by intercom at 12:30 pm.

TLC will meet today at 11:2 in Mrs. Morrison’s room and FCA will meet today at 12:15 in Mrs. King’s room. Please bring a friend and you can bring your lunch.
The Junior Cats will travel to Barton Thursday the game will start at 7:00 pm.
The Wildcats will play Barton here Friday at 7:00 pm. The theme is Black-Out (not glow in the dark). Wear black to support our Wildcats. The cheerleaders will sell black shaker poms 2 for $1.00.
