For the month of October Deputies patrolled 21,382 miles and performed 183 property checks. We had 60 calls for service, that resulted in 21 reports filed, six arrests and 21 citizen assists. During traffic enforcement Deputies issued 46 tickets, 154 warnings, one DWI arrest, and a felony drug arrest. Patrol Deputies work five motor vehicle crashes on state highways, worked security at both the Dumas and McGehee High School football games, and received two hours of patrol rifle training.
The Criminal Investigation Division opened two felony case files during the month, which have been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office for charges to be filed.
We worked six Circuit Court dockets and two District Court dockets.
We were happy to be a part of the Serendipity Auction in Dumas, and the Boys & Girls Club Fundraiser in McGehee.
