Drew County AR Sheriff Investigating Two Separate Shots Fired Calls

In the early morning hours on November 2, 2021 the Drew County Sheriff’s Office investigated two sepearate shots fired calls within a two hour time frame. The first call was reported on Florence Road at approximately 1:15 a.m. The caller stated shots were fired from a dark color two door car. No vehicles or homes were struck by the gun fire. Approximately 30 minutes later   Deputy Doug Stark was dispatched to a residence in reference to a vehicle being struck by gunfire. The victim, age 57 of Monticello, stated she was parked at the intersection of Wilson Mill Road and Midway Rt. The victim stated a dark color passenger car passed by and she heard gun fire coming from the passenger side of the vehicle as it passed by. The victim stated she drove to her residence where she contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Stark inspected the vehicle and observed a bullet hole to the driver’s side fender and a bullet hole to the cab of the vehicle.
