According to Drew County Arkansas Sheriff Mark Gober on Wednesday June 29th 2022 deputies was dispatched to the area of 183 Seventh Day Camp Rd in reference to someone shooting at a residence.
Multiple rounds struck the residence and a boat that was parked in front of the residence.
During the course of the investigation Aiden Thompson age 19 of Monticello, Arkansas was identified as a suspect.
On Monday July 11th 2022 an arrest warrant for Aiden Thompson was signed by Judge Robert Gibson charging Thompson with a terroristic act.
On Tuesday July 12th 2022, Aiden Thompson was arrested.
On Thursday July 14th 2022, Thompson appeared before Judge Crews Puryear for a first appearance. Thompson was bond set at $25,000 commercial.
Thompson has bonded out of jail. The investigation is ongoing and other arrest are expected in the case.
