This is Steven A. Hamblen. A retired school teacher with a masters degree… and the man that has been dumping his, and his girlfriend’s, nasty garbage on Masonville Road for the last two years. Hundreds of bags, stuffed with neatly packed garbage, while driving right by two dumpsters. I identified him a month ago, but was gathering more evidence, and was going to obtain a warrant. However, as I was picking up his garbage off Masonville Road again today, he rode by and waived at me. That was it for me. I followed him to his house… and yes, he is a Masonville Road resident, dumped his garbage out at his feet, and obtained a full confession. Hamblen was cited for the littering and has a December court date at McGehee District Court. It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it!
