
The S.A.F.E. (Southeast Arkansas Financial Education) Center Inc., non-profit organization of Monticello, announces theirFREE 2022 Retirement Conference to be held Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 am to 12:30 pm at the Monticello Branch Library.
According to Dr. Christopher Allen, director, studies show there are many people who are not prepared for a healthy retirement. Retirement planning begins the day you earn your first dollar. There will be education information provided on social security, Medicare, social services, burial and life insurance, retirement budgeting and more. The presenters will be JoAnn Trotter Lee –Drew County Human Services Administrator; Sharon Hampton – Pre-Need Planning specialist; Dr. Christopher Allen – Director; and Clarissa Pace – Finance and Marketing Specialist. Lou Lambert is the event coordinator. “We held our first retirement planning conference as a virtual event during the pandemic. It was successful. We are excited to host it again as an in-person event,” state Lambert.
Founder, Clarissa Pace, said that they are pleased to begin providing FREE information to the adults of the community.The mission of the S.A.F.E. Center is to engage, enrich and empower families for financial success, fulfilling careers, healthy lifestyles and well-balanced relationships.
