Georgia Man Arrested In Monticello Arkansas After Applying For Job As Monticello Arkansas Police Department Patrolman

According to Monticello Arkansas Police Chief Carlos Garcia the police department has arrested a wanted man Justin C. Carter, 24, from Georgia.

Justin C. Carter applied for an open position for a patrolman through email form South Carolina and arrived on August 14th from Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Justin Carter came to the police department and verified details for the physical fitness test on August 15th. After he arrived, there were some discrepancies in his physical appearance from his background check.

These discrepancies led to a discovery of his actual identity and nationwide warrant from Georgia. Mr. Justin Carter met Monticello Police Department at Monticello High School track to perform the physical fitness test for pre-employment. Officers allowed Mr. Justin Carter to perform the test and immediately took him into custody.

Mr. Carter is awaiting transport to the state of Georgia.
