The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that we have a new Executive Director, Hannah Morton. Hannah graduated from UAM before settling down in Hamburg with her husband, James and her three children, Saylor, Samuel, and Sutton. Hannah is excited to get to work for the businesses of Hamburg. About the position, she said, “I am so honored to be named Executive Director of the Hamburg Area Chamber of Commerce. I want to help promote an environment that will help our businesses succeed. With strong leadership skills, the ability to build strong relationships within the region, and an enthusiastic passion for the Hamburg community, we will together continue to do what is best for our town.”
The Chamber Board is excited to welcome Hannah to this position and is looking forward to all of the amazing projects and programs in store. Hannah will be at the chamber office today and every day for the rest of the week, so please stop in if you would like to say hello or grab a festival t-shirt order form!
“I believe this is exactly where I need to be. God always provides and shows His mercy. I am excited to work in this community and excited to build relationships within this community. I cannot wait to give back to the community and really focus on growing our town for the better. There will be lots of events coming up soon and we want to bring in some new fun exciting things to our town also. Supporting our businesses and creating new opportunities will be difficult, but if we put in the hard work anything is possible. The chamber board will be a pleasure to work with and again I am excited to work hard for this community,” said Hannah.
