The Arkansas Fair Housing Commission will hold its yearly conference on April 16 – 19, 2019. The host is Carol Johnson, J.D. MA is the Arkansas Fair Housing Executive Director. The theme is “Building the Next Generation of Diverse Arkansas Communities.” This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Ben Carson, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary. Secretary Carson will speak on Friday April 19, 2019 at 11:30am.
Mayor Tonya Kendrix, City of Hermitage, AR will be the moderator for the Friday April 19, 2019 9:45am session over Health and Housing Disparities. Steven Henson, CEO at Bradley County Medical Center will serve on the panel.
In addition on Wednesday April 18, 2019 Governor Asa Hutchinson will be the keynote speaker for the morning session at 9:00am
