SHAWNEE, Okla. – On Wednesday, the Great American Conference announced its 2022-23 Men’s Basketball superlative awards, released the All-GAC teams and named its top Scholar Athletes. Arkansas-Monticello saw sophomore guard Isaac Jackson earn Second Team honors.
Jackson earns the accolade after an impressive sophomore season campaign in which he led the Weevils in many different categories; including total points (413), free throw (66), rebounds (138), and field goals (153) while averaging 14.8 points per game. He was fourth in the GAC in three-point percentage with a .449 average, hitting 41 of 92 attempts. At eighth in the conference in minutes played (913), Jackson averaged 32.6 minutes on the court for the Weevils.
The Weevils finished the 2022-23 season with an 11-17 overall record and a 7-15 finish in Great American Conference play.
