Jefferson County Arkansas Sheriff Office Makes Arrest In Last Night Shooting On Eva Drive Near Hardin Community

On yesterday, April 7, 2022 at approximately 6:56 p.m. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a residence located in the 3100 block of Eva Drive near the Hardin Community in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival they discovered an unresponsive male who had been shot. The victim, has been identified as Anthony Alexander (33) was pronounced deceased at the scene by Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher.

A person of interest was who was detained at the scene, now identified as, Charlie Andrew Irvin (51) has been arrested in the case. Irvin has been booked into the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center, charged with Capital Murder and Tampering with Evidence.

The investigation is still active and ongoing by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
