MPD investigating single vehicle accident with damage to home, death of Conway driver
According to Monticello Police Chief Jason Akers, MPD is investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning where a truck left a city street and struck a home.
Officers received the initial call of the incident by neighbors who heard a loud noise shortly after midnight.
The vehicle, which was occupied by multiple juveniles, was previously reported as stolen out of Conway.
Names of the occupants of the vehicle are withheld pending the outcome of the investigation and based on the fact juveniles names are not released to the media. The deceased driver of the vehicle was from Conway.
MPD is working with the Conway Police Department and juvenile intake officers from that area.
