Trinity Truck Driving School was opened in February of 2022. Mr. Wayne Edwards Jr. and his wife Mrs.
Carli Edwards opened the program for students interested in obtaining their CDL license, as well as
training in several other areas. In February of 2022, the US Department of Transportation changed rules
and regulations for US truck driver’s that requires behind the wheel training from a FMCSA- registered
program. This is for first time students that are working to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL, if you are
upgrading an existing Class B CDL to a Class A CDL, or obtaining a school bus (S), passenger (P), or
hazardous materials (H) endorsement for the first time. This program offers all of these classes as well as Hazmat Endorsement, and permit classes.
Trinity Truck Driving School offers multiple scholarship opportunities, including AR Rehab, and Migrant
Farmers and Workers scholarship. They even offer a special scholarship opportunity once a month that
is offered by Mr. and Mrs. Edwards. They have financing options available for the multiple courses that they offer. This program works closely with the Division of Workforce Services in Lake Village, Dumas,
Monticello, Crossett, Pine Bluff, and the Arkansas Human Development Corporation. They work very
diligently to offer resources that can help each student be debt free and successful, which Carli describes as one of the most rewarding parts of her job. They can even help with job placement when a student completes the four-to-six-week courses or obtaining a CDL.
In Mr. and Mrs. Edwards free time, they enjoy spending time with their kids, and two dogs. They love to
travel and see new places, and enjoy going to Church. Wayne Edwards Jr. is originally from Lake Village,
AR and Carli Edwards is originally from Humboldt, Tennessee.
