EL DORADO, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello men’s golf team closed out the second day and third round of the 2022 Arkansas Collegiate Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at the Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Arkansas. UAM concluded the tournament in thirteenth place overall, with two individuals competing as well.
Senior Andrew Pearson closed out day two of the tournament at the top of the Weevil leader board. Throughout the entirety tournament, closing out the the tournament tied for 32nd. He shot a 79 in the first round, an 85 in the second, and a 75 in the final round.
Jacob Gallas competed individually in the event and finished tied for 49th place, shooting an 85 in his first round, a 75 in the second, and another 85 in his third.
Owen Page started out the event with a first and second round 84. He finished the final round of the tournament with a 79 and an improvement to being tied for 54th place.
Chase Gedak finished the day tied for 60th place. He shot an 80 in round one, followed by an 86 in round two and an 84 in round three.
TJ Baker came out of the second day shooting an 84 in his third round, following his 90 and 86 from rounds one and two. He also finished the tournament in 69th place.
Ethan Bearden left the tournament tied for 70th He shot an 88 in round one, a 92 in his second round, and an 82 in his third.
Bailey Dooley is also competed individually in the event, finishing the final day of the tournament tied for 72nd place. He carded a 96 in the first round, followed by an 85 in round two, and a final round 95.
