Monticello Arkansas Fire Department Responded To Drew County Detention Center For Generator Fire

At 8:05 pm Monticello Arkansas Fire Deparment was paged out to the Drew County Jail. Monticello Arkansas Fire Department responded with Engine 2 and Fire Rescue 1. Upon arrival crews found generator running but not on fire. Investigation found a faulty automatic transfer switch smoked up. The building has commercial power and all inmates are secure.
