According to the Monticello Police Chief, Carlos Garcia, Isaac Solar, 48, of Monticello was arrested and charged with Rape and three counts of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree on January 10, 2023 in connection with an investigation conducted by Monticello Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and the Arkansas State Crimes Against Children Division that began in August 2022 with all victims being under 14 years of age.
On June 19, 2023, Solar pled guilty to four counts of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree and sentenced to 40 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
