According to the Monticello Chief of Police, Carlos Garcia, the Monticello Police Department made a traffic stop on October 1, 2023 with a stolen vehicle. Garin Fox, 28, of Monticello, was arrested for Theft of Vehicle, Driving on Suspended License, and Theft of a Firearm. First appearance was held on October 5,2023 and a bond was set for $20,000.00. Fox is currently being held at the Drew County Detention Center.
