Meet MPD’s Newest Dispatcher and UAM graduate!
Monticello Police Department Chief Jason Akers wants to welcome our newest Dispatcher, Ms. Shaneikqua Stewart to the MPD team!
Ms. Stewart is a 2014 graduate of UAM, where she received her Bachelors Degree in General Studies.
Shaneikqua was raised in Dermott and comes to MPD from the McGehee Police Department where she served as the Senior 911 Dispatcher.
Chief Akers said “I was immediately impressed with Ms. Stewart’s confidence in doing the job as well as her positive attitude. I have no doubt that she will excel within our team here. We are blessed to have yet another UAM graduate on staff”.
