Monticello Man Gets 35 Years in ADC For January 3rd 2023 Murder of Monticello Juvenile

According to the Monticello Police Department Chief of Police, Carlos Garcia, Zaquandre Pittman was arrested on January 3,2023 for the murder of Decabrin Binns by the Monticello Criminal Investigation Department. Pittman was charged with Capital murder, attempted Capital murder, aggravated residential burglary, and aggravated robbery. 

On November 9,2023, Pittman pled guilty and was convicted of murder first degree, attempted murder first degree, aggravated robbery, and aggravated residential burglary. Pittman was credited for 311 days time served and was sentenced to 420 months (35 years) to the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
