Senior Citizens are targeted in over 50% of telemarketing scams and statistics show that roughly 70% of Seniors have already been targeted for such fraudulent activity.
Identity theft, financial crimes that target the elderly, home and personal security were discussed along with countermeasures that can be taken to prevent our Seniors from becoming victims to these crimes.
Our Seniors are one of the most valuable assets our community has and MPD and First Baptist are glad to step up to the plate and do our part to protect them.
