On 01/11/2023 at approximately 7:15 pm the McGehee Police Department, Desha County Sheriff’s Office, and the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant on #3 Plainview, in McGehee. During the investigation officers uncovered several items of contraband including over 1 pound of vacuum sealed marijuana, a GLOCK 9mm, 22 bottles of THC juice with 511 grams of THC in each bottle, various bottles of prescription medication, as well as drug paraphernalia. We would like to thank the Desha County Sheriff Mitch Grant and his deputies, as well as the agents from the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force for their assistance in this operation. The owner of the residence was not present at the time of the search, but a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
