We had a great turnout today for our monthly luncheon! CEO Debra Burchfield from Hope of the Delta was our speaker today. Hope of the Delta is an Arkansas based pregnancy resource center who help women with free and confidential pregnancy test, ultrasounds, and pregnancy options. Rock City Chiropractic was named our Business of the Month for September. The award was accepted by Kayla Drake and Lindsay McGough and presented by Vice President Jonathan Baugh.
High school students that are in the JAG program at SCHS also had the chance to come today and were accompanied by teacher Brittney McGraw!
A few other updates there were provided during the lunch:
- The county fair is this month and if you are looking to obtain an educational booth, please contact Jane Newton at the Cooperative Extension office located in Star City. Jane needs to be notified ASAP. The Chamber of Commerce will also have a booth set up and allowing for members to display advertising and promotional items at our table.
- The Bulldog Foundation is currently selling Bulldog and Ladydog apparel. You can order items directly from the site located on the Bulldog Foundation Facebook page. We also have some merchandise catalogs available if your business or place of employment would like some. You can message us on here and we will make sure those get to you.
