
Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, has announced the hire of Trent Scogin, who will be serving as senior vice president and city president in the bank’s Monticello market.
In this role, Scogin will lead the Monticello team and supervise lending functions of the bank’s southeast Arkansas locations. He will enable the bank to make agile, meaningful decisions in the community while investing in the people and meeting their unique needs.
“Trent has been a mainstay in the Monticello community for years and will be instrumental in our growth in southeast Arkansas,” said Micah Beard, regional president at Citizens Bank. “He is highly respected within the community, and we are excited for him to join the Citizens Bank team.”
Scogin is a longtime Monticello resident and has 17 years of experience working locally at Arkansas Farm Bureau.

He is a board member with the UAM Sports Association, coaches various youth sports teams and is a member of First Baptist Church in Monticello. Scogin and his wife, Meghan, have a daughter, Mia, and a son, Mason.
