CABOT, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello men’s golf team competed in the Natural State Classic at the Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Arkansas on Monday and Tuesday. UAM would come out of the tournament with a tenth place finish.
Owen Page led the Weevils throughout the tournament, closing out the first day shooting a 76 in the first round and an 80 in his second. He finished the final round with an 80, closing out the tournament tied for 41st overall.
Ethan Bearden came out of the final round tied for 44th place after shooting a round one 77, followed by an 81 in his second and a 79 in his third.
Grant Mohesky finished his tournament run tied for 47th place. He shot an 84 in his first round of the tournament, a 76 in the second and a 78 in his third.
Andrew Pearson left with a T-49th place finish, shooting an 82 in his first round, followed by a 75 and an 82 in his final two rounds.
TJ Baker was the final Weevil competing in the tournament, leaving the event tied for 57th after shooting an even par 72 in his first and only round.
