MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Arkansas-Monticello men’s golf team closed out the final day of their spring season opener in the Buccaneer Spring Classic at the Irene Golf and Country Club in Memphis, Tennessee on Tuesday. UAM would come out of the final day of the tournament with a fifth place finish.
Owen Page led the Weevils throughout the tournament, closing out day two shooting a 75 in the first round, a 74 in his second, and a 70 in his final round. He finished the tournament in 11th overall.
Andrew Pearson came out of day two tied for 25th place after shooting a round one 78, followed by a 77 in his second and a 74 in his third.
TJ Baker finished the day tied for 32nd place. He shot an 78 in his first round of the tournament, an 86 in the second and a 71 in his third.
Chase Gedak closed out day one tied for 36th place with a first round 84, a second round 74 and a final round 78.
Ethan Bearden finished the day in 44th place, shooting an 85 in his first round, followed by an 82 and a 78 in his final two rounds.
Grant Mohesky competed individually for the Weevils and is finished in 49th. He shot a 90 in his first round, a 79 in his second and a 92 in his third.
