CABOT, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello women’s golf team opened up their spring season in the Natural State Classic at the Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Arkansas on Monday afternoon. UAM would come out of the first day of the tournament in eighth place.
Gabriela Maldonado led the Blossoms in the opening round of the tournament, closing out day one shooting a 75 in the first round. She finished the day in 4th place.
Chiara Sturaro came out of day one tied for 19th place after shooting a round one 81.
Worawalan Siwaiyapram finished the day in 23rd place. She shot an 82 in her first round of the tournament.
Robbi Jo Freeman closed out day one tied for 49th place with a first round 94.
Anna Beth Reynolds finished the day in 53rd place, shooting a 110 in her first round.
