The UAM Cross Country Teams Competed in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Little Rock Open at War Memorial Park. The women’s team finished in eighth place against a very competitive field of runners.
BreAmber Wallace paced the Blossoms this afternoon as she completed her 5K in 23:32. Rebecca Perry crossed the finish line seven seconds behind Wallace at 23:39.
Joana Ramos raced around the course and recorded a time of 26:12 during her run at the Little Rock Open today.
Caden Young finished just over 29 minutes, while Courtney Rhoades also competed for the Blossoms.
On the men’s side of the 8K competition, Bryce Johnson led the charge by finishing with a time of 28:42.
Kyle Glover crossed the finish line at 35:31, while Brandon Gurnsey also competed for the Weevils.

The UAM cross country teams will return to the course next weekend to compete in the Great American Conference Championship. The race will take place on Oct. 23 at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
