UAM Ends Sixth at Lois Davis Invitational

The UAM women’s cross country team finished sixth in its first event of the year Friday at the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by SAU in Magnolia, Arkansas.

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello women’s cross country team finished sixth in its first event of the year Friday at the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas.

UAM had five runners compete in the event finishing with a score of 156 to land in sixth place.

The Blossoms completed their run with a total time of 2:22:13.

The top runner for UAM was Rebekah Perry who finished 29th overall with a time of 24.50.7.

All for of Perry’s fellow Blossoms followed close behind as BreAmber Wallace finished 33rd, Joana Ramos landed 36th, Caden Young was 38th and Courtney Rhoades came in 42nd.

The Blossoms will compete in the Tiger Invitational hosted by Ouachita Baptist Friday, Oct. 1, in Arkadelphia, Ark.
